Asus ROG Phone 5 Review: Gaming Phone Gahar but Heats Fast

 Asus officially presents the ROG Phone 5 series. 

This phone is launched in two variants, Asus ROG Phone 5 Regular and Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate.

 The regular Asus ROG Phone 5 appears in two variants, namely 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB.

 While the Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate appears with 18GB/512GB which is present this August.

Design

 ASUS ROG Phone 5 has dimensions of 172.8 x 77.3 x 10.3 mm and weighs 238 grams. 

The front panel is coated with Gorilla Glass Victus, while the back panel is coated with Gorilla Glass 3 made of glass.

Screen 

Asus ROG Phone 5 comes with a 6.78-inch 2448 x 1080 pixels AMOLED front screen, 144Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, 1200 nits brightness, and is coated with Gorilla Glass Victus.

 The bezels are also 25 percent thinner than the previous model. 

There is also a punch-hole selfie camera embedded in the top right. 

The large screen on ROG Phone 5 is very comfortable when used, whether it's for playing games or just surfing on social media. 

With 60Hz, 120Hz, and 144Hz adaptive refresh rates, the phone can adapt to user needs when using certain applications.

Camera 

Asus ROG Phone 5 is equipped with a front camera with a resolution of 24MP

While the rear camera comes with a 64MP main camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera.

Performance 

Please note that the ASUS ROG Phone 5 carries the Snapdragon 888 processor which is by far the best chipset.

Coupled with a gaming mode called X-mode to maximize performance when playing games. 

The battery has a capacity of 6,000mAh which is divided into two cells (sections) and is supported by 65W fast charging technology.
