Valentino Rossi almost posted his 200th MotoGP podium when he appeared for the Petronas Yamaha SRT team in the 2021 Austrian MotoGP race which took place at the Red Bull Ring, Spielberg, Austria, last August 15.
However, the opportunity ran aground when the flag-to-flag race entered the final lap.
Rossi who had difficulty controlling his bike with dry tires on a wet track in the end could only finish in 8th place.
Meanwhile, the top 3 positions in a row are filled by Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM), Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo), and Jorge Martin (Pramac Ducati).
Interestingly, the internal race was not carried out with iron horses as big as MotoGP motorbikes, but with Ohvale brand mini bikes.
Although only having fun, Rossi and his students still looked serious.
The Doctor even considered his students to be difficult for him when he was on the race track.
