This is one of the company's devices introduced at the Xiaomi Smarter Living 2022 event, Thursday (26/08/2021) in India.
Mi TV 5X comes with 40 W speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The company offers several variants based on screen size, namely 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch models.
This Xiaomi Smart TV features the Vivid Picture Engine 2 which is claimed to offer better saturation levels and sharper details.
The photoelectric sensor can support the Adaptive Brightness feature. It's a kind of feature that detects the brightness in the surrounding environment so that the smart TV can adjust the brightness of its screen.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 5X offers a 4K display, 96.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, premium metal bezels, a one billion color display and the Reality Flow MEMC Engine for claimed smoother visuals.
The device also supports Dolby Vision, Hybrid Log Gamma, HDR 10, and HDR 10+. The 40W (30W on the 43-inch) speaker is equipped with Dolby Atmos support.
The company explained that it has worked closely with IMDb regarding content on smart TVs. The device can display content from 30 streaming services rated and data-driven entertainment guides from IMDb.
A collection of the top IMDb titles will appear in the PatchWall home menu.
For information, Xiaomi Mi TV 5X comes with a new generation PatchWall 4 interface based on Android TV 10.
On the innards side, this smart TV is powered by a 64-bit quad-core A55 CPU and a Mali G52 MP2 GPU. The device is also equipped with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory.
Xiaomi Mi TV has an Auto Low Latency Mode which is claimed to provide a better gaming experience.
